We recommend the following resources for local and national support in supporting your young one’s individual identity journey.

TIGERRS - Local Resource*

A Twin Cities organization that creates safe spaces for gender expansive youth and their families. TIGERRS has two groups, Little Tigerrs and Teen Tigerrs that meet once a month.

Transforming Families - Local Resource*

“Transforming Families is a community where transgender, gender non-conforming, and questioning youth and their families come together to support each other in a safe, welcoming space.” They offer monthly gatherings, with separate breakout groups for parents, kids, siblings, and teens.

Outfront Minnesota - Local Resource *

Minnesota’s largest LQBTQIA+ organization with resources for queer kids and their families.

Trevor Project - Resources for queer and gender expansive youth and their families.

Parents of Trans Youth - “Parents of Trans Youth provides learning, support, and community to parents and caregivers of transgender, nonbinary, and gender diverse kids.”

Parents of Trans Youth also offers a podcast for caregivers as an additional resource. Available wherever you get your podcasts.
